TAE believes he has found a remedy for yellow fever, but it is also possible that he has not solved this problem yet. "But the rapid development of science may easily before long bring to light an efficacious cure and preventative for yellow fever. And other hardless less fatal malignant diseases."
Edison claims pouring gasoline over infected region should be sufficient for extermination and effectual check of yellow fever, based on theory that sufficient cold will kill all forms of organic life
