- TAE has lost about $200,000 to $250,000 through Tomlinson, his former counsel. The Sun's allegation is that TAE, who has no head for business outside his workshop, entrusted to Tomlinson the sale of the phonograph, with the aid of Gilliland. They reported the sale as $250,000 lower than it actually was. When TAE found out, he charged that the $250,000 was divided between the two.
