Editor's Notes

TAE does not invent for the sake of glory even though he has much of it. He is willing to take a little more money though. He has quarreled with his lawyers because he believes they did not get enough money from the sale of the phonograph. The patent was sold for $750,000 and the lawyer pocketed $250,000.
