"What the Defendants Say", New York Times. Published details about the lawsuit which TAE has brought against Gilliland and Tomlinson have generally been discussed by the electrical community. The article addresses the positions each had in the Electrical club and some of their involvement. Gilliland and Tomlinson "will make a general denial in their answer." The article addresses Gilliland's side of the story including how he viewed the Gililland contract agency and the right to sell the phonograph.
