- TAE has begun a suit against Gilliland and Tomlinson and "virtually charges the two of cheating him in the selling to J.H. Lippincott last year the stock of the Edison Phonograph Company." Tomlinson declares the he and Gilliland are not beneficiaries of TAE and have in fact lost lots of money through their connection with him.
