- Asks him to come to the Menlo lab and bring nickel moulds used to bend fibers to carbonize. And have Haid pass gas over it to carbonize. "I want to see if we cannot make these little plated moulds out of plumbago using the nickel piece to put straight on the fibre. If we could use these it would save a deal of money.."
