Editor's Notes
Go to Amsterdam and present yourself to Mr. [Jonkeer J.E. Huydecoper, lawyer], administrateur de la Societe Neerlandaise, or [W.J. de Bordes, broker]. We want you to plan a central station and also a dynamo and 60 lamp installation for Krasnapolsky. wrt central station, pls send us your plans in detail as well as any propositions received so that we can come up with a detailed estimate. Afterward go to Brussells and Antwerp to examine lighting there and make a plan to light the French Theatre and Hotel de Ville (town hall) at Antwerp. Also investigate lighting at a few other theaters in those cities. Huydecoper and de Bordes are founders of N.V. Nederlandsche Electriciteit-Maatschappij, in which Krasnapolsky was an original shareholder, and Leon Wertheim & Co. was also interested. <BIBL>Heerding 1986, 114–115</BIBL>;
