Gual Mgrte, Edison Machine Works, #19 Dey Strut, New York Dear Sir; Herewith I send you a form of response on dynamos embracing one hundred and seventy eight (178) questions all of which in some manner bar directs on the conditions, use and abuse of dynamos, which will, with such additions and alterations as your expenses and Mr. J ST. Vaile knowledge of the business may suggest, prove a means of providing you with facts concerning machines to which you have no other ready means of access.
