Title

[X018C7D], Letter from Lewis Alexander Miller to Mina Miller (Mrs Thomas A.) Edison, January 7th, 1888

Editor's Notes

4-3667.Dear Sister Mina, ##I have been putting off writing to you for two weeks, but I have thought of you every day and I always think I shall see your cheerful face when I get home, but I do not, so will have to make the best of looking at your picture. I want to thank you and Thomas A. for the fine X-Mas present you gave me. It is just what I needed. ## We had a good X-Mas at home and had a big time New Year down at Aunt Alices. There is but little going on in Akron, but I seem to be going most every night some where. The only company I was at this week was at Cad McEbrights. I heard that Hattie Miles was going to give a party for Miss Hodge Henrys friend; but I have not received any inovation yet. There are lots of things I wanted to tell you but I can't remember them now. You can get Mr. Edison to make me some thing so I can make some money on it. I have not got my stock yet from Father and I do not think I will as he does not think much of me or he would. I wish I could put some money in some think that would pay big. ## Well I am taking too much time from my work so I shall have to close. Set me hear from you soon. We are all very well,
