- [X018D1AC1], Letter from Mary Valinda (Mrs Lewis) Miller to Mina Miller (Mrs Thomas A.) Edison, May 31st, 1885
- Editor's Notes
- The time is fast approaching when they can talk with each other and hopefully can understand each other better and enjoy each others society with all the enjoyment of true love and good wishes. [Probably a reference to school ending and Mina either returning to Akron or meeting Mary V. at Chautauqua.] Asks how is it about the [future?] but then adds that it may be an improper question to ask at present. Goes on with family news. Mentioned: Mrs. Bates.
