It is with great pleasure that I attempt to write these few lines thought they may be very poorly done I can asure you they are word and lines full of love and good wishes to you my dear ones this is the first time for a week that I have yet to write as I have been a little under the weather this morning. As I do feel so much better and every thing so lovely and beautiful out doors I thought I would try what I could woth the pen#I received a very kind and loving letter from you my dear Mina and was glad to hear from you would be glad to be with you to day keeping you a little company if I could but I am afraid I would be more bother than good but I will be with you as soon as I can and your Pa starts this afternoon with a Conference and he will soon be with you. I want Jennie to go with Pa but she says not now# Dear Jennie has been so good to me well all have but Jennie gave up everything and staid night and day she is a good nurse to dear Grace could hardly leave me neither she is so loving and kind dear child # O what am I trying to say how can I express I can not as all my Dear ones are so good and kind. I never can tell or express my thankes and good wishes for them# I am a little tired I will write some again,my darling Dear Grace was reading your kind letter to me this morning I put myself first in your place as I new just how you felt I felt as though I could fly to just as I was Darling be cheerfulful just a little longer and I trust all will be well with you and happiness and giving will take the place of sadness and feeling lonely there will be bright eyes and soft little cheekes and cherry lips for to look at you and for you to kiss and pat.O how sweet every thing will be I do hope you will have a good time and everything will be as you and Mr.Edison would like pleas ask Mr Edison to let some his planning and studying be for a little time and stay with you, for now if ever you want him it is now keep him all you can. And both be happy with each other other. Dear Mina I must close this now as all send love and good wishes please excuse poor letter. I am your loving Mother good by my Darling Mina love to all,
