"Your cable as follows received: 'Am offered Presidency of Association American Exhibitors and asked to presie at dinner to Commission, shall I accept?' We calbe you to-day 'Accept with out congratulations.' This is done with Mr. Edison's approval. ### We hope that you will fill the position with modestya dn not increase the size of your hat in consequence of the honor placed on you. ### We most heartily congratulate you upon the honor conferred upon you, for we consider that a great honor has been given you and know that you will do justice to your own reputation credit to our friends."
