Editor's Notes

Unidentified press clipping of EHJ's report to board of Electric Railway Co of the US. Discusses meeting among TAE, Field, Batchelor (representing EMW) and himself. Despite his patents for applying electric power to cars, TAE favors an electric locomotive. However, agree to take approach of fitting each car with a motor. Also agree to employ frictional clutches so armature can maintain its speed at all times.
