- [Letterhead: The Edison Company for Isolated Lighting] Saw Hubbard and arranged meeting of the three of us for Tues. next week; he and I prefer reorganizing our company and making a contract with Bell & Co. to pay them a per instrument royalty, but only when instruments are used; also agree that experimental work to perfect instrument be done at Bergmann's by Bell & Co. and ourselves, but that, once perfected, competitive bids be taken for their manufacture.
