Title
[X154A4FB], Letter from Gardiner Greene Hubbard to Uriah Hunt Painter, November 20th, 1885
Editor's Notes
By your last note, been expecting to see you here, but now hear you are in NY and won't be in D.C. till Congress assembles; you and Johnson need to decide if anything is to be done with the phonograph; Bell is in Europe but will return if a satisfactory arrangement is made; Tainter "will leave for some other occupation, unless some arrangement is speedily made"; EHJ says he will come anytime on 48 hours notice; arrange a meeting with him for next week.
