- Editor's Notes
- [2 typed pgs ESPCo intrigue] Have yours of 1/7 on return to Washn. Don't see anything in your memorandum of agreement with Roosevelt that has anything to do with transfer of stock. Stock was supposed to remain in your name on the Co's books. But there's nothing to be done now, without the proper executive to issue certificate. Hubbard resigned as Pres over a month ago, and TAE as VP "declines to act or have anything to do with the Co. taking the ground that the Company is dead." ## I suppose you know why Cheever is so anxious to have stock put in name of Cummings. Certificate give to Cheever was never paid for and therefore issued improperly; more of that later. [NOTE: CROSSWRITING UPSIDE DOWN ON FIRST PAGE]
