- [X154A7AV], Letter from Uriah Hunt Painter to Edward Hibberd Johnson, February 19th, 1888
- Editor's Notes
- "I wrote you a week ago today in reference to the comments and charges made by Mr. Edison on my letter to you before you went to Chicago. Did you receive it? Did you see the article in the New York Sun of today on the Phonograph? When can you come over to make an organization under the last election? It ought to be done at once so that we will have some executive officers, and be ready to do something when we find out what we ought to do." EHJ marg: "I sent it to Edison & got no reply. I did not see the article in the Sun. I can come over almost any day next week." [X154A7AW]
