"Bergmann was in today to see if you were here. I have not sent you not & bonds. He [cared not ---illeg-- none & tomorrow we should all know the worst or best. I enclose telegrams. You don't say what you & L[ippincott?] discussed? Suppose you will be [illeg] as I presume he wants to get it closed up somehow. If you see Eckert [more?] time ask him if [illeg] have definitely made up their minds to do nothing with or for me. PS When I see you tomorrow we will discuss B--n [Bergmann]."
