- Editor's Notes
- At this time it looks as if I may be short @12,250 on your payment of $21,250 on Friday. If I run I should like you to give Col. Reiff autority to extent that much until Wednesday the 5th. I shall not ask it unless it is necessary. So far up to date I have paid out in connection with the Phonograph and Graphophone $710,000 and have receive on account of same only $325,000 the difference $385,000 I have raised not upon the sale of any stock, but by my individual efforts, so you see I have had no small task to perform. If I require it and you will extent the $12,250 for five days I will consider it a great favor and I will do my utmost to be prepared for the December payment of $52,500. Hoping to hear from you Friday A.M.
