Title

[X154A7FE], Letter from Josiah Custer Reiff to Uriah Hunt Painter, December 18th, 1888

Editor's Notes

[NYC] "Draft for $500 from E. H. Johnson presented & paid. ## You must be a little more particular about [advising?] draft & drawing or filling them out. You did not advise the $1,000 draft favor J Rash & in the one favor of EHJ it was drawing on W & E of Washington DC. ## I suggest you get some blank drafts & let Ash fill them out for you to sign. ### Brownpaper will do if it is necessary, but where NOT necessary form looks better in [illeg] through Banks. ### The Bank of Commerce called attention this evening to the [methods?] suggested."
