- U.H.P. I was in Jersey yesterday at the Copper mine, hence could not send the letter in answer to your telegram-- I will do so tomorrow as I think E.H.J. returned it. I simply oferred it to him or as to show ou agreed with my position toward Bergmann-- Accident will happen but I guess EHJ smoothed Bergmann down.-- The fact is he ought not to be very sensitive as to casual use of words or even terms of diminution for I don’t know anyone who is freer with his tongue than the same little man. I cannot imagine what you want with the letter except (having no copy) you want to see whether you really did put in the offensive word. However I guess we will all [surmise?] it Yrs JCR
