- Title
- [X154A8BM], Letter from Edward Hibberd Johnson to Uriah Hunt Painter, April 3rd, 1889
- Editor's Notes
- "I showed him nothing & didn't promise to---I simply informed him that you object to immediate organization and consequently I could not sign any papers or in any way participate in any matter pertaining to his new business. In fact he might consider that I was not a party in interest at all that I had no money to put in & preferred to end at once all furhter pressure from him to so partcipate by finally declaring myself out of the matter. I have quite enough to worry me without carrying on a triangular deal of such an absurd character as this has been."
