- Editor's Notes
- [letterhead of Bergmann Electric & Gas Fixture Co.] I have had a loan called on me of over $32,000 at a slap on my Brooklyn stock, and I have loaned the concern here over $25,000, and as I carry Mr. Johnson's whole load, it has made me ery tight and hard up for money; consequently I have had to make sacrifices in different directions. Now I do not think it is fair to ask me to hold Mr. Johnson's interest much longer. I can sell the stock easily. Several good parties want to get an interest, and if Johnson cnanot take the whole of the stock, would he take part of it? At all events, I have got to get some money. I have spoken to Mr. Johnson several times, and he always replies that he is waiting for a settlement. I wish you would clear this up for my sake and let me know by return mail what I shall do.
