"I learn today that the new Edison machine sent to replace their 100 ampere (#5) is a smaller machine called #4 with current capacity 80 amperes at 125 volts. They call for 1600 revolutions. Laments electrical losses in their WI armatures. "They Edison ran at 1200 on the 200 ampere machine & 1400 in the 100 ampere, and they have called for 1000 revolutions for the 400 ampere machine. They have decided to test the latter machine first...."
