This notebook covers the period March-April 1892. It was used by Edison, primarily for notes from experiments on bricking and reducing phosphorous in Ogden concentrate. Bricking experiments with lime are noted in two series, one running from A-Q, the other from AA-XX. There are also a series of phosphorous tests with unwashed Ogden ore, numbered 1-152, and some cost calculations for producing resinate. The front cover is labeled "Early Bricking & Phosphorus Expts #1." The spine is labeled "130" and "Edison's [no]tes." The book contains 195 numbered pages, some of which are blank.
