This folder contains correspondence and other documents relating to Edison's involvement in exhibitions, trade shows, anniversary celebrations, and meetings of electrical and other industries. The selected items consist of letters from Edison associates such as investor Arthur Williams, along with correspondence containing substantive marginalia by Edison. Among the documents for 1911 are letters by Thomas Commerford Martin and others concerning a ceremony at which Edison was presented with a cubic foot of copper "in recognition of the stimulation given by your inventions and discoveries to the use of copper all over the world."
Approximately 10 percent of the documents have been selected. Invitations that were unanswered or routinely declined by Edison have not been selected.
