Among the items for 1914 are letters concerning an experimental plant for Morris & Co. in Chicago and geology surveys in Tennessee. The correspondents include Charles Baskerville, professor of chemistry at the College of the City of New York.
Less than 5 percent of the documents have been selected. The material not selected consists primarily of unsolicited correspondence and other letters that received a perfunctory reply or no reply from Edison.
