The Harry F. Miller File contains contracts, financial material, correspondence, interoffice communications, and other legal and business records that were maintained by Miller in his capacities as Edison's personal business secretary and as an official in several Edison companies. Among the documents for 1899 are an agreement with Charles E. Stevens regarding foreign phonograph sales; a contract with William L. Saunders of the Ingersoll-Sargeant Drill Co.; and financial agreements between Edison and investors in the Edison Portland Cement Co.
