This notebook covers the periods December 1896-February 1897 and November 1897-January 1898. It is the second of four books used by an unidentified experimenter to record lamp tests, nos. 1-302. This book contains tests, nos. 149-300. Each test lists the amperes, volts, and candlepower used. Most of the lamps tested are designated as "Edison" lamps, although there a few that are listed as "Aylsworth" and "Edison Jr." There are several loose pages of material, including instructions for the tests from Edison to Dally (probably Charles Dally), and a letter to Edison, February 4, 1898, by Wilson Howell of the Lamp Testing Bureau, Association of Edison Illuminating Companies. The front cover is marked "Orders. Book 2. 149 to ." The pages are unnumbered. Approximately 150 pages have been used. Numerous items have been pasted into the book.
