Title

[D8523ZBF], Letter from Edison Electric Illuminating Co (Sunbury), Frank H McCormick to Thomas Alva Edison, June 20th, 1885

Editor's Notes

[Letterhead of Campbell & McCormock,] Received yours of June 3. Enclose certificate No. 51, of the Edison Electric Illuminating Co. of Sunbury for four shares of stock, assigned to you, and in full amount agreed to be paid to you by the promoters of the Sunbury Co. in consideration of your accepting stock instead of cash for your account against the Co. "As to the further stock referred to by you, I have only to say that I have no control over it and refer you to the other promoters or to the officers of the Company." I have disposed of my entire interest in the Co. and am no longer connected with it in any capacity. "Hoping that your other electric light plants may be more successful than the Sunbury plant and wishing you success in all of your various enterprises."
