- Editor's Notes
- "Over a year ago, you signed a contract with us, though our Mr. Greenfield, to fit up your house in Llewellyn Park, with our temperature regulator, using a hand pump for compressing the air. We have endeavored through our agents several times to gain permission for you to install this apparatus. We are very anxious to get this done, as we feel sure that we could make a warm friend of you; for the reason that you always appreciate anything good, even though it may not be your own, when you know that it is good, and we would like very much, through this coming winter to refer to you as one of our satisfied customers; and more than that we feel assured that after having tried the temperature regulator for a few weeks, you would find lots of usage for the apparatus in the other rooms of your house. ## Trusting that you will either notify us to go ahead with the work, or grant an interview with the undersigned at any time and place that you may name in answer to this, I remain," Marginalia by TAE: "Tate = Write this man & say that I signed this order to help Greenfield but that I was never to have it put in as its impossible to run wires without great trouble --"
