- Title
- [D8747AAU], Letter from George O Simmons to Thomas Alva Edison, December 8th, 1887
- Editor's Notes
- "You will find enclosed circulars of my collections of minerals. I have placed one of my students set both in the Packer and Polytechnic Institutes of Brooklyn where they are much appreciated. Mr. Garrett of Baltimore has one also and several of our city merchants So you will see they are suitable for the home as well as for the Academy. I should be very glad to sell yo uone and that you will be very much pleased with it. aside that you will wonder how they can be sold so cheaply. Davas Manual accompanies each collection and it is so arranged the immediate reference may be made to the manual for the descriptions of the specimens. Trusting to receive a favorable reply,"
