Editor's Notes
14-7632. [From Bordeaux, France]; you should have received a chair taken to NY by Mr. Ackerman; bought it near the home of Charlotte Bronte; Mrs. Vincent bought one too; sending you and mother silk stockings and other sundries; if you want a dress, I will order one from Madame Joyeuse; you ought to come over to Paris next spring and go shopping with me; TAE can spare you for six weeks or so and you'll need a change of scene; mother says you're getting thin; I suppose you had a good time at home; will you stay awhile at Xmas; we're going to Spain for about four weeks; left the Vincents in Paris and will join them again in Nice; [gives itinerary for Spain]; we might have trouble as we know no Spanish and very little French; you ought study French; this winter why don't you come with Father and go to Egypt with us; may be unkind to ask you to leave TAE but you would have a good time; Anna Upson sails to NY Saturday and intends to visit you; [Includes other news on family and friends]
