[Frank] can you send immediately two good isolated men hundred dollars month and expenses##To you May 1, 82 Test amb[urseds] machine only finished today Cannot find good isolated men you must [illegible]##To you May [1st] 1882. [Inst] found new Lamp [---] when applied as safety catch plug worse than [[---] as [---] [lead] crosses [Belt] [paths.] Old style all right. New [plug] made right by connecting bottom button to screw by putting [illegible] all went without fail. mailed samples##You should have received from Gouraud your Oriental & United Telephone monies by this time. Please advise me exactly as to amounts &c if you have got them also if any stock you may receive from him.##I am sorry to say that I cannot find you any men here whom I could recommend. I think you will get much greater satisfaction in the long run if you use [natives]##As to the 250 Light machine (about which I got a letter from you this morning) I will write you tomorrow or next day.
