Title
[LB012226], Telegram from Thomas Alva Edison to Armington and Sims, May 2nd, 1882
Editor's Notes
Can you put large cylinder on standard central station engine so as to indicate with economy hundred seventy five instead hundred twenty five. Have just received foreign cable for twelve and will give up Porter if you can do it and aid us to get [proper?] model to fit our present [bedplate?] How would it do for one of you to come on. [Must?] work quickly or else must use Porter which we do not desire to although he agrees to alter his cylinder on present engines. [Moore?] can have Queen of Pacific engine if you can promise one for London within a week Answer quickly
