I yesterday cabled as follows "Just found new [--- --- ---] applied as safety catch plug worse than useless as vapor lead crosses both poles. [-- ----] all right new plug made [---] by [------] carbon button to [---] by putting lead through hole built in centre plug. change all [cent] without fail. Mailed [samples] Hammer fearing [illegible]?##I send you by same mail under separate cover two pages and marked "-.-."] is a sample of what you have at present and the page marked "[-.-.]" is a sample of how much one must be allowed.
