Editor's Notes: I have sent today directly to Mr Brandon, papers in a case of Stern and Byllesby upon Lighting Cars by Electricity I did this under Mr Edison's instructions [alas] because great haste is required in order to obtain a valid French patent. Mr Brandon has instructions to take out the French patent only. If he requires funds in this matter, I am instructed to ask you to furnish them and charge to mr Edison's account.
