That the Carbons dont gradually change their resistance necessitating another readjustment if this is so it will keep the regulator [from very] [buoy]##I should put Campbell or [---dan] after [-- opts] through with the C. [---] & 15 light drawings on remodeling the whole [illegible] you say the same kind of lamps are before and to be absolutely sure that they are 8 [--- ---] & not 10 perhaps [--] want on this ##The Commutator speed of the 250 is less than 1/3 more than the [jumbo] [---] I dont see why the current shouldnt be carried [--ly] if the [---] of contact is [-----] I think Mercury [dodge] should be worked up on these smaller machines anyway if we do I am sure we will get lots of [----] [---] competent to test machines, so that Andrews can pay more attention to the new & first machines, hunting defects etc= I think you ought to see Maj Eaton about this=##Did you see the Jumbo run last night Dean writes that spark was [nothing] & that my [conjectures] [------] What do you say to this##I advise [resuming] test I [---ing] at Georck St with [---tips] but only as fast as they break. [beware] when you [----] of [---] to tell him when you [illegible] I should not order the [chenknife] [regs] until I was thoroughly satisfied by actual test, ##I should order the field reg because I see no chance for mistake there but please carefully consider it with a view of [convening] And the absolutely [im-----] that connections in [bonding] posts or elsewhere should ever get loose This is of the greatest [----- ---- ----]
