Title

[LB012320], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Edison Electric Light Co, Sherburne Blake Eaton, May 15th, 1882

Editor's Notes

I requested Bergmann & Co to furnish me with an estimate for 20 & 50 Light meters & he quoted $9.90 for the former and $18.50 for the latter in lots of 100 with a promise to give us better terms after the first few orders I think this reasonable for the first quotations##I enclose letter from E. M. Carhart as to position & have written him that I have referred him to you##I return you herewith Dickersons report on the [Goebel] Lamp & also enclose letter to be placed before the Board as re[quested]##I have no specific complaint to make against Andrews. My only object in requesting you to ask him to examine the work more closely, was merely precautionally not by any means as a concensus on the way he performs his duties
