If munroe gets two thousand (2000) lights averaging each not less than eight hours lighting per day on or before 26th day of July 1883 I will give him two (2) shares of Edison Electric Light Company Stock. Each extra hour above eight to be credited to munroe towards making up the 2000 Lights but no lamp burning for less than eight hours per day for six days per week to be taken into account for example if munroe gets one light burning twenty four hours it is to count as three damps burning eight hours and pro rata for lamps burning not less than eight hours.##Munroe to have the right to call for the Stock if above results are obtained or for cash at the rate of three hundred (300) dollars per share as he may elect
