- Editor's Notes
- "I have just been trying the 200 thread screw machine, and find it works perfectly. The recording and reproducing points, of course, half size. It will probably want a little heavier weight on the nut arm than the old one, but we can easily fix that. I have taken one of our ordinary cylinders and with reading very leisurely have put on 1500 words, running at 110 revolutions. It can, of course, run much slower than this. I find the articulation is equally as good as anything we ever had, and I believe there is less scratching noise. Shall immediately make some master taps for this and put a few in hand. ### I enclose circular of testimonials from Louisville." Yours truly, Batchelor.
