- "With reference to our telephone conversation of this afternoon, we to-day received a cablegram from Mr. Hammer, Paris, in which the following sentence occurs:-- ### "Have colored lamps been shipped? Important." ### In reply, we cabled Hammer, in accordance with your instructions, to the effect that all colored lamps, excepting ruby, would go forward early next week. ### You will, therefore, kindly see that these lamps leave the factory in time to catch the first steamer sailing next week."
