- Editor's Notes
- "Some two years ago we bought from you a large size gear cutter. At the time this was bought, the machine we wanted was more of a Universal Milling Machine than a special gear cutter, and consequently we have had very little use for it. In looking over your catalogue I find that one of your largest size No. 1 Standard Universal Milling Machines would be very much more suitable for our work than this, and would like to know if we could not make [unclear] arrangement to [unclear] this gear cutter for one of them. We do not have a [unclear] to cut once in six months, and then nine times out of ten we should be able to do it on this machine. Whereas, the Universal Milling Machine would be working all the time. Please give me an answer immediately, and very much oblige" Yours truly, Edison Laboratory by Chas. Batchelor
