Title

[LB032180], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Edison Machine Works, August 29th, 1889

Editor's Notes

"I telephoned you to-night in regard to test sheets of transformers, and in order to be sure that you understood what I mean, I asked you to send me a test sheet of each size of transformer you have made of the Edison type, giving me also the method of winding and the sizes of wire used, and also denoting which type of machine it is. ### I should be very glad if you would also send me 5 copies of both of each number of machine, running from No. 1 to 60, in order that I can take the mean of them for purpose of calculation. What I want is simply test sheets of 5 different No. ones, 5 each No. twos &c., [unclear] of the machines you make." Yours very truly, Chas. Batchelor
