Title
[LB032372], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Eastern Pennsylvania Phonograph Co, Luther Halsey Williams, September 20th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"The Phonograph Works having received instructions from Mr. Lippincott to take up the matter of making a cylinder on a hollow wooden base, they have asked me to make the necessary experiments to show whether it will improve our present cylinders. ### I presume that this is the process that was spoken of by you in your letter to Mr. English of September 13th. Before commencing I would like to ask you for a little more explicit description of the process, as I do not quite understand how you want them made. ### Any instructions that you can give me on the subject, I shall very gladly receive, and the best of my ability will be devoted to get a satisfactory result." Very truly yours, Chas. Batchelor.
