I have yours of yesterday, and not what you say. Your men have not commenced yet to lay the carpets in Mr. Edison's house or put up the tapestry &c. I think it important that this work should be commenced at once, and shall be obliged if you will send men out on Monday next (30th inst.) to attend to this work. Please do not fail to have your men begin this work immediately as desired. Yours truly, Chas. Batchelor
