Capital costs for central station for 10,000 lights, according to "Hornig" and smaller "allowance. " Calcs of operating, depreciation costs. Some TAE notes begin fr 38. FR 40 return on selling 600 HP during the day. Gas comparisons. Assumes running boiler on coal dust. FR 47: "It should be considered that the light is far better than gas, and can be sold at a higher price than gas and pay profits. For example.." Cost estimates go on and on; detailed estimates, including taxes & insurance. Fr 55: "it is recommended that a small amount be charged yearly for each burner, enough to pay for breakage and attention." Estimates return on investment at various prices for light. Fr 59 compare costs of power. 66-67; misc drawings. 70 looks like Edison dynamom.
